DHG Asheville leverages its breadth of experience in the Carolinas region with its unique ability to connect with clients nationwide. We cultivate unparalleled long term business relationships and deliver personalized service backed by deep industry knowledge. Our office has settled in the largest city within Western North Carolina with quick access to attractions such as the Blue Ridge Mountains and the Biltmore Estate. The first DHG office in Asheville was established in October of 1979 and has since grown into a significant hub of 100+ employees within the region. While we are a full-service accounting firm, DHG Asheville primarily serves the following industries:

As a national firm within an intimate city, our office exudes the similar character and charm that makes Asheville unique and desirable. The daily atmosphere is friendly and collaborative, and motivation, drive and passion are common denominators across our office. Proper life-work integration is a priority at DHG Asheville and maintaining an active lifestyle is a valuable component of our culture. Asheville is a playground for those who love the outdoors and many of our employees are regular marathoners and triathletes. In fact, the Bent Creek Experimental Forest is minutes from the office where many employees enjoy mountain biking - sometimes even with clients! The Asheville office maintains a culture of fellowship, support and accountability for each other. Whether we are celebrating personal and professional milestones or challenging each other to reach annual goals, we contribute to each other’s success and enjoy celebrating those successes together.

The DHG Asheville office also has a longstanding philanthropic tradition throughout the local community and its surrounding areas. We support a variety of organizations and charities, including those with a focus on healthcare, education, disaster relief, the arts, animal rights, food banks, the elderly, mentoring and children’s causes. Active volunteerism is an integral part of our office’s culture – a quarter of our employees gave 50 hours or more of their time to the community during the 2014 fiscal year alone. Specifically, DHG Asheville offers collective support to the following:

  • Alzheimer's Association
  • American Red Cross
  • Asheville Downtown Association
  • Eliada Homes
  • March of Dimes
  • Relay for Life
  • United Way of Asheville and Buncombe County
