DHG Charleston and Summerville were collectively formed in 2006 to meet growing market need in the low country region. The strategic mergers that led to DHG Charleston left a legacy of strong local relationships and a dedication to giving back to their local community. Charleston is the home of the Forensic and Valuation Services group with 30 employees led by Roy Strickland, and is home to one of DHG’s state-of-the-art computer and digital forensics labs.
DHG Charleston employees consistently demonstrate their ability to be innovative, resourceful and adaptive in order to help our clients receive valuable results. The professionals in the Charleston office are adept in providing the full breadth of accounting and tax services with a focus in several industries that are important to our region, including:
Charleston is a small town packed with culture and fun. Our employees love to engage with their community and serve as volunteers on countless boards and committees beyond holding leadership posts with government bodies, sporting groups, religious organizations and civic entities. Giving back to the local community has always been an integral part of our office culture, and our employees do it selflessly. Our office managing partner, Tricia Wilson, is President of the DHG Foundation in addition to being an integral leader in the firm’s Women Forward initiative. Count the Cans has consistently been a focus in our office and our donor recipient, the Low Country Food Bank, is one of our valued clients. Our employees are active in a wide variety of charitable works, and a few of the organizations we support office wide include:
- Habitat for Humanity
- March of Dimes
- The American Heart Association
- Trident United Way
- Wings for Kids
